For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Heb 4:12-13
Jesus is the living Word of God to whom we must all give account.
We are all "naked and exposed" in His sight.
In other words, He sees through every ounce of hypocrisy, religious showmanship, and superficiality. He knows our hearts and He knows our weaknesses.
He sees us for who we really are. We may be able to fool other people, and even ourselves, but we cannot fool Him.
He also sees us for who He created us to be - something we truly don't yet have the faintest idea of (see 1 John 3:2)
C.S. Lewis wrote in The Weight of Glory,
The dullest most uninteresting person you can talk to may one day be a creature which, if you saw it now, you would be strongly tempted to worship... There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilizations - these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub, and exploit.
We are being prepared to live as kings and queens in the Kingdom of God, exploring and governing supernatural realms beyond our wildest dreams.
He invites us to step into the Divine Nature and unlock latent powers and abilities beyond the imaginations of the greatest science fiction writers.
But just as a father would never give the keys to his truck to an 8 year old, Our Father will not give us access to realms and realities that we are not ready to safely inhabit. We must be trained and prepared.
This process can be painful, but the reward far outweighs the cost.
Far too many people consider Jesus to be no more than a "get out of hell" free card. They see Him as a free pass to heaven that they will need to pull out of their back pocket someday, but in the meantime simply weighs them down and holds them back from having fun in this world.
He does not judge us to condemn us. He judges us to refine us and purify us to prepare us for a life of eternal glory beyond all comparison.

No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared
for those who love him
1 Cor 2:9
I love the end of the Lewis excerpt. We are called to see Jesus Christ in every person we encounter.
