Prayer from 1 John 3:16

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. - 1 John 3:16

Thank You Jesus for revealing what true love is.

Your love is confirmed for us, not through our circumstances, but through the Cross.

There You declared Your eternal love for the entire world once and for all.

With Your arms stretched wide, You called forth all mankind to come find shelter in Your embrace.

Even to this day You continue to draw all men to Yourself through the power of Your love.

May our bodies be vessels that manifest this divine love upon the earth.

Father, may our mouths speak Your truth. May our hands bring Your healing. And may our feet deliver the good news to souls starving for salvation.

May we ever conform our lives to the Crucified King.

And may we enter into ever deeper union with the One for whom our souls were created.

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you,

that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all
