The Glory of God (John 11:40)

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” John 11:40

Our world says I'll believe it when I see it.

But Jesus says that you'll see it when you believe it.

The world wants us to base our faith on what we can see, touch, prove, examine etc.

Jesus wants us to base our faith on His faithfulness alone.

He says that unless we become again like little children we cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Most of us tend to overcomplicate things. Someday when we see Him face to face we will realize just how simple it was all along. All He wanted us to do was trust Him. And if we do, He promises that we will indeed see His glory.

At that time Jesus said,

“I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,

because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned,

and revealed them to little children.

Yes, Father,

for this is what you were pleased to do."
