Today is the Day (2 Cor 6:2)

For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2

God is Eternal, meaning He exists outside of time and space.

If we want to access God there is only one place and time He is available to us: here and now.

We cannot rely on yesterday's manna for today. And we cannot count on tomorrow, for it may never come.

We cannot get stuck in the past or lost in speculation about the future. We must seek God here and now. He can be found nowhere - and no-when - else.

It doesn't matter if you've been saved for 40 years, or if you don't even believe in God - He is waiting for you right at this very moment to turn to Him and embrace Him.

God desires a living, breathing, moment-to-moment vibrant relationship with each one of us. He does not just want to be a logical proposition that we intellectually believe in and pull out of the back of our brains when necessary.

"Salvation" does not just mean - saved from hell after I die.

At the deepest level, Salvation is not even a concept at all.

Salvation is a Person whose name is Jesus - and He wants to spend, not yesterday, not tomorrow with you, but today.

“Be still, and know that I am God"
